Something different than just another tomato disease picture…

It seems like the only time I ever talk about tomatoes on here is to describe some kind of disease.  Instead, I’d like to take a moment to get away from the pathogens and talk about FOOD!  =)

The following recipe is the salsa recipe that I love.

2-4 garlic cloves

2-3 medium yellow onions

2-3 jalapeno peppers (medium heat) or 1-2 habanero peppers (hot)

1-2 cup fresh cilantro

3-4 large tomatoes

In a food processor (or as I call it, the one thing that you cannot do without in the kitchen… other than a KitchenAid mixer…), puree the garlic, onions, peppers, and cilantro.   Add the tomatoes and chop to the desired consistency.
