Canadian Haskap Pollinator Varieties

“I am looking that the seed catalogs.  Does “Pollinizer Canadian Haskap” have a named variety, or do they use various varieties depending on what is available?
Will the variety name (if any) be shown on the plant tag? Thank you, Allison”

Hi Allison,

Thank you for the question regarding Canadian Haskap pollinators.  In general, the pollinators are a Russian variety rather than a Canadian variety so that there is not  possible confusion.  Most nursery companies use a variety named “Blue Belle”.  To know for sure, I recommend contacting the nursery that you plan to purchase them from — they should be able to tell you the variety that they have as a pollinator.

I hope this information helps you out.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask.
